RNU Stands With Ukraine. #NursesForPeace

The Registered Nurses’ Union Newfoundland & Labrador stands in solidarity with the people of Ukraine, and the registered nurses and health care workers caught up in this conflict.

RNU condemns the invasion of Ukraine and Russian targeted attacks of health care facilities. In support of nurses and health care workers on the ground in Ukraine, RNU is proud to donate $5000 to the International Council of Nurses (ICN) Humanitarian Fund to support the nurses in the Ukraine and the humanitarian efforts in the country.

On behalf of Canada’s nurses, The Canadian Federation of Nurses Unions (CFNU) has also donated to the ICN Humanitarian Fund and Doctors Without Borders. Read the release here.
