RNU President and Minister Haggie to Address Delegates at RNU 26th Biennial Convention


St. John’s, NL – Tomorrow, the Registered Nurses Union of Newfoundland and Labrador (RNU) launch their 26th Biennial Convention. Opening ceremonies will start at 8:30 a.m. and will include welcome remarks from the Honourable John Haggie, Minister of Health and Community Services. Minister Haggie will also participate in a Q&A session with over 230 RNU delegates. Following, there will be an address by RNU President Debbie Forward which includes comments on Minister Haggie’s remarks and will set the tone for the rest of the convention.


What:              RNU Biennial Convention runs from November 5– 9.


When:             Tuesday, November 6, 2018.  Opening Ceremonies begin at 8:30 a.m. with Minister                                                Haggie speaking at 9:15 a.m. Following a short intermission, Forward will take                                                        the stage at 10:15 a.m.


Where:            Salon A in the Sheraton Hotel located at 115 Cavendish Square, St. John’s.
