8:30 a.m. – 9:15 a.m. – Opening ceremonies and remarks by:

  • Beverly Griffiths, Director of Acute Health Services and Nursing Policy, Department of Health and Community Services;
  • Hassan Yussuff, President, Canadian Labour Congress (via video).
    9:15 a.m. – 9:45 a.m. – Address by RNU President Debbie Forward.

9:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. – Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) in the Nursing Profession; presentation by Mikaela Brooks, Researcher with Manitoba Nurses Union.

12:00 p.m. – 12:45 p.m. – RNU Rally for Safe Patient Care, James Paton Memorial Regional Health Centre.

2:45 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. – Keynote Address: Barb Fry, RN; “Thriving in a Changing Workplace.”
