RNUNL works in collaboration with nursing, community and labour organizations provincially and across Canada. RNUNL is a member of the Canadian Federation of Nurses Unions (CFNU) and is affiliated with the Canadian Labour Congress (CLC).

Quality Care for Over 50 Years
Since 1974, RNUNL has been committed to improving the working conditions and quality of life for nurses in Newfoundland and Labrador. Before 1974, the terms and conditions of employment for registered nurses were considered a private matter between the employer and the employee, and were shaped by the prevailing economic and political conditions of the time.
