Collective Bargaining Public Awareness Campaign

The Registered Nurses’ Union Newfoundland & Labrador (RNU) is inviting proposals from qualified Canadian creative agencies, with preference for those based in Newfoundland and Labrador, to develop and implement a Collective Bargaining Public Awareness Campaign.

This campaign will help build public understanding and support for a fair, retention-focused collective agreement for Registered Nurses (RNs), Registered Psychiatric Nurses (RPNs), and Nurse Practitioners (NPs) in Newfoundland and Labrador.

About the campaign

RNU members are expert caregivers and essential pillars of a strong, resilient, responsive public healthcare system.
This campaign will:

  • Strengthen public trust in RNs, RPNs, and NPs as expert professionals;
  • Build visible public pressure for a fair, retention-focused collective agreement;
  • Engage rural communities as key political influencers; and
  • Prepare and support public understanding should job action become necessary.

Work will begin February 1, 2026, with all final materials delivered no later than June 1, 2026.
