St. John’s, NL – The Registered Nurses’ Union Newfoundland & Labrador (RNU) will uphold a Regatta Day tradition by hosting the Seniors’ Rest Stop at the Royal St. John’s Regatta scheduled for tomorrow (Wednesday, August 3).
“RNU is pleased to provide seniors with a comfortable place to watch the races,” said Debbie Forward, RNU President. “Our team of RNs and volunteers look forward to seeing seniors at the rest stop and to help make their Regatta Day enjoyable.”
Seniors are encouraged to stop by the rest stop where hot and cold refreshments will be served from the comfort of a covered tent. The rest stop will be located on the boathouse side of Quidi Vidi Lake across from the Anglican Cemetery.
