Media Opportunities at the Registered Nurses’ Union 28th Biennial Convention
St. John’s, NL – Tomorrow, more than 230 registered nurses from across the province will come together in St. John’s for the Registered Nurses’ Union Newfoundland and Labrador’s (RNU) 28th Biennial Convention.
The convention will take place at the Sheraton Hotel Newfoundland, October 25-28, 2022. The events below are open to the media. This includes RNU President Yvette Coffey’s opening address, which will focus on the health care and nursing crisis.
Members of the media are also invited to attend a rally on Wednesday where hundreds of registered nurses and members of the public will raise their voices for safe patient care. RNU will launch a new media campaign at the rally, calling for action to stabilize the nursing workforce and protect patient care.
